These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GATETARD website at gatetard.in and the web application at app.gatetard.in (collectively, the "Service"), operated by GATETARD ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
GATETARD is an online platform for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam preparation. The Service provides mock tests, performance analytics, study planning tools, question bookmarks, and related features to help users prepare for the GATE examination.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit any questions, test papers, or content from the Service without written permission
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from the Service
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity of the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing on the rights of others

4. Content & Intellectual Property
All content on the Service -- including questions, solutions, explanations, interface design, and branding -- is owned by GATETARD or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content you create within the Service (such as personal notes and bookmarks) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service to you.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Some features of the Service may require payment. Payments are processed through Razorpay. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
- You are responsible for providing accurate payment information
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay and are subject to their Terms of Use
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
6. Refund Policy
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with a paid feature, contact us within 7 days of purchase at support@gatetard.in with your transaction details. Refunds, if approved, will be processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Specifically:
- We do not guarantee that our mock tests, questions, or content will match the actual GATE examination
- We do not guarantee any specific exam outcome, rank, or score as a result of using the Service
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure content accuracy but do not warrant that all questions or solutions are error-free
- The Service may experience downtime for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GATETARD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify you through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
